Mughlai paneer

Super creamy and delicious mughlai paneer recipe which will be your kids, friends relatives favourite. It is not at all spicy, but is rich and creamy. This goes well with pulao, roti, naan , laccha paratha

Ingredients

Onion - 2 large chopped

Cashews - 20 pieces

Paneer - 1 cup cubed

Curd / Yogurt - 1/2 cup well mixed

Green cardamon - 2pods

Oil - 2 tbsp ( you can use ghee also)

Turmeric -1 tsp

Red chilly powder - 1tsp

Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp (you can use chopped green chilles also)

Bay leaf - 1no.

Kasuri Methi Leaves Dried Fenugreek Leaves - 1 tblsp

Cream - 1/2 cup

Method

• Take onions and cashews in a dry pan. Add a cup of water and cook till onions is soft. Take it in a blender and puree till smooth.

• Heat oil in a pan, add bay leaf .Add pureed onions and cook till it leaves the sides.

• Add turmeric, salt and mix well.

• Lower the flame. Add in curd and mix well.Add onion water in it if needed .

• Add red chilly powder, black pepper stir well then add paneer pieces and mix well.

• Add in kasuri methi leaves and mix well.

• Add in cream and mix. Take it off from heat. Garnish with little pepper powder and sprinkle some of kasuri methi on top.
